Hello Mavericks!!
I hope you are well and staying healthy. That is the most important thing to me. I have been thinking about you all, and I miss you very much. I know in light of recent developments, we may be not seeing each for awhile; however; we must keep in touch if only electroncially. Today, March 20, 2020, I called all of my students in my homeroom. If you did not receive a call or a message, please call or email me. I will be working at school most days, if you are able to reach out. If the circumstances change, and I am not at school, I will keep you updated. If you have access to the internet and a device, plese go to our school webpage and complete the Canvass work. It is on Augustus-way cool text!!

Welcome!!  My name is Rochelle Burman-Hall.  I am originally from Ohio, but I have lived in North Carolina for 22 years.  I spent many years teaching in Charlotte, but this is my ninth year in Cabarrus County. I am entering into my twenty-third year as a teacher, and I love being in education.  I am very excited about the social studies curriculum.  We will travel through Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and Ancent Rome. Afterwards we will move into the Middle Ages, spending time in Mesoamerica, North Africa and Japan.  I cannot wait to share my love of history with you, as it is fun and exciting.    I hope you had a wonderful summer, and are as excited as I am to be at Hickory Ridge Middle School!!

I love traveling. My husband and I spent two weeks sailing the Trade Routes of the Middle Ages. I would love to share the details of our adventure if you are interested.
