Remote Learning UPDATE:
As we all know, we are having to adjust and go to an online/digital learning format. All of my classes have been set up in Google Classroom and you should have received an invite. Fourth quarter students will be receiving lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but will have a schedule of activities to do for 5 days in the week.
Being at home for an extended period can be challenging mentally and physically. The more a person is active, typically the better off there mental health will be. Our goal during this time is for students to maintain a sense of normalcy and continue to be physically active as they would have been during their Physical Education class. Video instruction will be posted on Tuesday, April 7th to further explain our online PE classes for 4th quarter.
Please click here for directions on how to log into all school accounts. However, we will only be using Google Classroom for PE.
Please feel free to contact me during the normal school hours Mon - Fri, 9:00-4:00. Live Well!!! Stay Active!!!

Welcome to Physical Education with Mrs. Gardner. I have been working in Cabarrus County for 12 years as a health and physical education teacher and served as the softball and volleyball coach at JN Fries and Winkler. I am really looking forward to another great year at Northwest.
I grew up in Lynchburg, Va where I played volleyball and softball in high school. I attended Catawba College in Salisbury where I played softball for 4 years.
I am a huge advocate for children and adults to live a healthy active lifestyle. My goal is to educate students on how to make healthy choices in all aspects of their life; nutrition, physical activity, and relationships.
IMPORTANT PE INFO:
