Parents and Cadets
Welcome to 2018/2019 School Year. We are so proud of the accomplishments of the cadets enrolled in our program and look forward to another fun, challenging and eventful year. For Academic School Year 2017/2018, our cadets helped our JROTC program to earn for the 12th consecutive year, the "Distinguished Unit Award," a remarkable achievement and one of sustained excellence. We are looking forward to continued success by our cadets. If you are interested in being a part of the JROTC program this year, please talk to one of our cadets, or call Lt Colonel Martin or Senior Master Sergeant Smith at 704-788-4111, extension 249 or see us in Room A245.Cadets are required to wear the Air Force blue uniform once a week and for the entire day on Wednesdays; repeated failure to wear the uniform as required and/or properly on Wednesdays will constitute failure for the uniform grade and subject to removal from our JROTC program. For physical training (PT) classes, cadets are required to wear their PT uniforms on Fridays. Additional information on uniform wear requirements is referenced in the cadet training guide, which is in the classroom and taught within the first two weeks of the semester. Information is also referenced in the cadet contract, signed by a parent/guardian and the cadet. All cadets are required to wear the Blue Service Dress Uniform on Wednesdays.
