Welcome to Wolf Meadow Elementary School. We are One Pack, and I am excited that you will be here to help make this year great. This is my 8th year at Wolf Meadow Elementary School and my 5th year as the school’s principal. I believe that the students, families, and staff here are exceptional. I am honored to be able to be a part of this community.

I began my career in Cabarrus County Schools 26 years ago. I graduated from the University of Charlotte with a dual bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development and Elementary Education. As a classroom teacher, I taught second, fourth, and fifth grade for thirteen years. I am Nationally Board Certified as a Middle Childhood Generalist. For the five years before my arrival at Wolf Meadow, I worked in Cabarrus County as a Lead Teacher and PreK-12th Grade Instructional Specialist. I earned a master of art in Educational Leadership from Western Governor’s University. I am currently perusing my doctorate at Western Carolina University.

Wolf Meadow is a special place to learn. The teachers here are talented not only in their profession but also in building a classroom community of independent thinkers. We think our theme for the 2020-2021 school year is perfect for where we are as a staff and community of learners. We know that Wolf Meadow is a place where all students and teacher can discover and share their magic.

When I am not at Wolf Meadow working with students, parents, and teachers, I enjoy reading good books, exercising, baking, and traveling with friends and family.

Please feel free to contact me this year if I can assist you or your student in any way.

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! We are One Pack and I am excited to go on this exciting journey with all of you this year! I am honored to begin my 2nd year as the Assistant Principal and my ninth year with the Wolf Meadow Elementary School family.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. After graduating, I began my teaching career at Wolf Meadow Elementary teaching second and third grade for five years. I then decided to go back to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte to pursue my masters in School Administration. I completed my administrative internship at Concord Middle school. After graduating with my masters, I returned to Wolf Meadow to serve as a lead teacher for the past two years.

I am proud to say that I love being a part of the Wolf Meadow community and cannot wait to start this year in my new role. I believe Wolf Meadow students are kind, creative and independent thinkers. It is extraordinary to get to stand alongside the staff at Wolf Meadow who do all that they can to support and nurture all students at Wolf Meadow. I cannot wait to see what this school year holds and what magic appears around every corner!

When I am not at Wolf Meadow building relationships with students, parents, and teachers, I am enjoying the sun at the pool, beach or lake while reading a good book. I also enjoy playing with my dog and cat or spending time with my family and friends.
