Welcome, Mathematicians!  I am so excited to be your math teacher this year.

This is the start of my seventh year as a teacher and first year here at Weddington Hills. Prior to this school year, I taught 8th grade at Northwest Cabarrus Middle School and coached soccer. I am a Cabarrus County native and product of Cabarrus County Schools. Cabarrus County is an amazing place to live, learn, and grow!

I am a wife, mother to three children, and dog mom.  When I am not at school, I spend quality time with my family, nurture a small vegetable garden and spend my time in the sunshine. I also enjoy traveling, drinking coffee, shopping at bookstores and craft stores, and visiting friends near and far. 

As your student and I journey together through their 5th grade year, I hope to instill greater confidence and appreciation for mathematical concepts and number sense, as well as a better understanding for how what they learn can be applied in real life.
