Ms. Stephanie Davis

Once a Knight Always a Knight! And, I'm so happy to be back at JNFMS!

Greetings!

My name is Stephanie Davis and I am the 8th grade school counselor here at J.N. Fries Middle School. I have 24yrs of experience in the field of education. I taught at J.N. Fries Middle School many moons ago; it feels great to come full-circle and return as a School Counselor. I have earned a Master’s Degree in Education, a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Post-Graduate Certificate in School Counseling all from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor as well as a National Certified Counselor. I am most passionate about helping students explore healthy ways to manage and express their emotions. I utilize creative therapy in my counseling approach, such as books, music, art, and games to help a student explore healthy coping skills. I am looking forward to a great school year at JNFMS!
