Mrs. Samantha Clark

Hello and Welcome to my Page!

I am the School Social Work for Wolf Meadow Elementary!

School Social Workers play a critical role in schools and educational settings. Social Workers that work within the school system provide services to students to enhance their emotional well-being and improve their academic performances. School Social Workers are usually employed by the school district and are often called on to help students, families, and teachers adress problems such as truancy, social withdrawal, overaggressive behaviors, rebelliousness, and the effects of special physical, emoitional or econmic problems (Baker, 2003).

My Name is Samantha Clark, here is a little bit about me... I was born in New Jersey and moved to North Carolina when I was 12 years old, like anyone else my move was a big adjustment, I will be honest and say I struggled with adapting to a different culture and environment. I am currently married and have a son. I received my Bacherlor's Degree is Social Work in 2016 from Limestone College. In 2020, I obatined a Master's Degree in Social Work from Walden University. Prior to coming to Cabarrus County School System, I worked at Cleveland County School System as a School Social Worker and Rutherford County Department of Social Services as an investigator. I have a passion for helping people and promoting change! I became a social worker becuase I thought I could change the world; however, I've learned that changing the world isn't realistic, but chaning someone is!

Thanks for allowing me to serve your community

Sincerely, Samantha Clark
