Mrs. Priscilla Young

Hi! I'm Mrs. Young!

I am so excited to be your child’s 3rd grade teacher.  This will be a year of meaningful experiences, lots of learning, and tremendous growth.  I have been married 21 years, and I have a son and two daughters, all three are in college. I also have a German Shepherd named Jax. I enjoy reading, DIY projects, canoeing, and spending time with my family.

This is my 11th year teaching. I know it will take parent support, teacher commitment, and willing students to make this a successful educational journey.  My goal is to grow your child into responsible young people, and to develop life-long learners.

Some of my favorite things:

Favorite drink: Diet Coke

Favorite scent: Anything Lavender

Favorite essential oils: Lavender, lemongrass, lemon

Favorite snack: Honey roasted or chocolate covered cashews

Favorite color: blue

Favorite sandwich restaurant: Jason's Deli

I'm looking forward to getting to know each and every one of my students!
