Hello 1st Grade Mandarin Families!

​My name is Nikki Schlemmer, and I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year.  This is my first year with Cabarrus County Schools, and I am glad to be back to teaching after staying at home with my children. I am so happy to join the Cox Mill Elementary team and I am looking forward to a great year! 

​I graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor's degree in English and Early Childhood Education.  I taught 2nd and 3rd grade in Henrico County, Virginia before moving to Charlotte with my family.  I have been married to my husband Brian for 18 years, and we have 3 awesome kids.  I love to sing, read books, and spend time with my family and our pets.
