Mr. McCormick

Hello! My name is Mark McCormick. I have been teaching at Mt. Pleasant High School since April of 2020.  I taught at Mt. Pleasant Elementary over the last couple year,s and have really enjoyed the Mt. Pleasant people and community.  I am married to my wife, Megan, and have three awesome boys, Declan, Callen, and Flynn. They keep me very busy. I graduated from Bethany College, where I played college football. I then completed my masters degree at Western Kentucky University. I have also coached over the course of my teaching career, and have been fortunate to work with a lot of great coaches and student athletes. I now have the opportunity to not only teach, but coach football here at Mt. Pleasant as an assistant coach.  I am very excited for this new school year, introducing a new blended curriculum, and looking forward to working with my students and their families.
