Ms. Emma Preston
Hello and welcome!
My name is Emma Preston and I am brand new to Irvin this year. I grew up in Ithaca, NY and moved to Morgantown, West Virginia to attend college. I received a BA in Elementary Education and an additional BA in World Languages: German. After graduation, I taught second grade in Morgantown for 2 years. I decided it was time for a move and fell in love with Charlotte and the surrounding area! I moved in May and was fortunate to be welcomed to Irvin as a 4th grade teacher. Although this year looks a little different, I am so excited to get to know my students this year and to embark on this new virtual learning challenge. I love to learn and try new things!
