The drop/add window runs until May 28th. The drop/add form is linked here and can be found on the CHS website. All schedule change requests must be made by May 28th.

Remote Counseling Services During the COVID-19 Closure
CCS Student Services Team members are here to support students and staff through academic and social emotional growth. We are a critical part of the CCS team. As we navigate through virtual learning, we wanted our CCS families to be aware that we may be able to provide some supports virtually. Please remember that we always adhere to our professional guidelines and ethics for practice (NC Department of Public Instruction, NASW, NASP, and ASCA), whether we provide these services face to face or virtually. We want our families to understand that we are bound to our confidentiality guidelines. Our interaction and conversations with students are confidential unless a student discloses harm to self, harm/threat to others, and harm and mistreatment to a vulnerable child or adult.
Individualized Student Success Plan for Rising Seniors: We know that thinking about your senior year can be a bit overwhelming, which is why the Student Services department created this document to assist you in your planning! Take a look at this document and read through each section. Maybe you know for sure that you want to enlist in the military, or maybe you aren’t really sure at all what you would like to do. Reading through each section will help you identify a starting place. Once you’ve read through the document, begin filling out the area(s) that best fits with your future goals. We encourage you to reach out to your school counselor via email when doing this to set up a time to review your goals and this sheet. Your counselor will be able to share student-specific information (GPA, class rank, things to consider, etc.) during your scheduled meeting time. Your counselor will be able to assist you via email, phone call, or video conference! We want to help you achieve your goals, so let’s get started!
Growing as a Student: Things to Consider (All Students): This form was created with all students in mind to begin thinking about your future goals. There is no set grade requirement to begin working through this document. It can be just as useful for our 9th grade students as it is our 12th grade students! As you review this document, feel free to reach out to your counselor with any questions!
The mission of the Concord High School Student Services Department is to share with faculty, parents, and the community the responsibility of providing integrative services aimed at preparing students to meet the expectations of higher academic standards and to become productive and contributing members of society. The school counselors provide a comprehensive and developmental program which promotes academic achievement, career success and personal/social development for all students.
