Ms. Kayla Ernst
Welcome to the Encouraging Elephants webpage!
In the Encouraging Elephant classroom and for the entire school, we are one big school family! In the Encouraging Elephant classroom we encourage one another to do our best, we are kind, we provide a safe place for children to be their truest self, and we also have a lot of fun! Together, we can conquer anything!
This is my first year teaching at the Mary Frances Wall Center! I find it both an honor and a privilege to work with young children and their families! I student taught here at MFWC last year during my undergrad. I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in May of 2019 with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Family Development. With that, I also obtained my teaching liscense for birth through kindergarten.
Mrs. Tabathia Benson is one of the Encouraging Elephant's teacher's assistant. I have been in education, teaching and assisting, for 14 years in both public and private schools and I have been apart of the MFWC for three years. I am currently attending RCCC working on my ECE degree. I love working with younger children and I am excited to be apart of the Encouraging Elephant team!
Ms. Elizabeth Stallings is another one of the Encouraging Elephant's teacher's assistant. I earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and child development from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
