Welcome everyone to 7th grade ELA! Even through the challenges ahead, I am beyond excited for a wonderful school year!  I can't wait to seeeach of you grow in your reading and writing adventures!

Let's get started with a little bit about me! I am originally from Tupelo, Mississippi.  This is where I spent all of my life up until a few years ago. In my spare time, you can find me reading, gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my wonderful husband and dog.

I then began my first job as an 8th Grade Middle School ELA teacher in Tupelo.  After my first year teaching, I moved to Delaware with my husband and continued my teaching career in Middle School ELA for two years.  Finally, we decided to move to North Carolina where I began teaching at Hickory Ridge.  This is my second year teaching Middle School ELA at Hickory Ridge, and I could not pick a better perfect place to be!
