Ms. Emily Jarvis
Thank you for visiting my website:) This website is a place where you can find updated information about what is happening in your child's math class! I am going to do my absolute best to update this weekly. Please visit the homework board below to see assignments that will be due weekly and please visit the tab that corresponds to your childs class to find helpful links as well as a preview to what is next.
Just for some background about myself, I am originally from Michigan but have recently moved to North Carolina. I graduated from Western Michigan University where I recieved a degree in Secondary Education. My major was mathematics and my minor was English. My inital draw towards JN Fries was the STEM program and how they strive for project based learning. I strongly believe the power behind learning this way.
This profession is very much my passion and I strive to be the best I can be. I am looking forward to this opportunity to work with your child and provide support in anyway that I can. Additonally, I am very eager to grow as an educator and feel very blessed to work with Cabarrus County Schools. Please do not hesitate to contact me, as I would welcome the opportunity to get to know you along with your child.

I have an older brother who lives in Michigan. In my spare time I like to ride my bike, shop, and keep up with America's Got Talent but I am so eager for the Voice to start as well. I love cups and bags. My favorite candy is Reeses. My favorite resturant is Olive Garden, although I have heard that I have a lot of southern food to try :)
