Current Updates

  • In light of the current situation, please keep the following in mind:

The Cabarrus County Board of Education met Sunday, March 15 to review and clarify plans for the district during our closing. We realize we cannot replicate or replace learning that happens in our schools every day.  Therefore, we have prepared supplemental learning opportunities that can be accessed on every CCS website by selecting the Extended Home Learning icon.

If you do not have internet access, you can pick up a paper copy of curriculum resources Monday at Mt. Pleasant Middle School between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.  We will be offering drive thru pick up of curriculum materials so please utlize parent drive and you will be met by a staff member that will assist you with at home work options for your students.  PLEASE do not attempt to access the school, a staff member will meet you in parent drive.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue to navigate this unprecendented situation.

In addition to this information, students were sent home with a genetics homework assignment.  If your students needs a copy of the assignment, please email me and I will send the documents to you.  Stundents will be able to access the assignment on Google Classroom as well.

Students should check their grades on PowerSchool and email me any questions in regards to missing assginments.

Please stay healthy and read a good book or two over this break.
