The end of 2018 is quickly approaching! Our life skills for the month of November are folding shirts and learning how to match tupperware to their correct lids. We are helping the basketball team with their laundry to help us practice our folding skills and practicing matching tupperware so that we are ready to help put thanksgiving leftovers away! Our theme for the month is Citizenship. We are learning about what it means to be a citizen, Veterans day, our rights as people and the importance of voting. We are also working on counting coins and being able to add them up together.
I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2004 with a bachelors degree in Social and Behavioral Science. I have worked with youth and adolescents in several different settings since then and genuinely have a love for diversity, teaching and learning. I learn something new from my students almost daily and my goal is that they do the same. My husband and I have a two year old boy who is the sunshine of our lives. We moved to Cabarrus County from out of state in March of 2017 and we are proud to be a part of the Mount Pleasant community and the Tiger family!!
