Greetings! I grew up in Waxhaw, North Carolina and graduated from Marvin Ridge High School. I spent 1 and 1/2 years at Central Piedmont Community College where I earned my Associates in Arts before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. There I completed a B.A. in English with a minor in Secondary Education after returning to my roots in Waxhaw student-teaching at Cuthbertson High School. This is my third year at Northwest! I intend to return to school to obtain my Masters degree in the near future. I live in Concord and I enjoy running, playing video games, and reading in my spare time.
