Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Marie Vrablic
In 2004, I moved from Grand Haven, Michigan, to the much warmer climate of Charlotte, North Carolina. I taught for Charlotte-Mecklenburg School for 13 years, before coming to Cabarrus County, in 2017. I received my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in 2008 and in 2009 became a National Board Certified Teacher.
Every year my students ask me, "Ms. Vrablic, why are you a teacher?" In my 8th grade year I failed math even though I was a straight "A" student in everything else and tried for hours on end to understand it. It wasn't until the next year when I had a teacher, Mr. Rogers, who made me see that math is very easy when you have a teacher that understands kids. Through Mr. Rogers patience and understanding, I learned the ins and outs of Algebra. I got an A in his class that year, and every year after that. It was this experience that led me to my path of teaching young adults, and I have been fortunate enough to see the growth in my students every year of teaching thus far.
