Mrs. Trish Cook
Principal

Mrs. Cook is no stranger to Cabarrus County Schools, as she grew up in Concord and graduated from Northwest Cabarrus High School. In 1995, she began working with CCS as a middle and high school Spanish and ESL teacher and as an assistant principal for instruction at the elementary level. The past two years, Mrs. Cook worked for the NC Department of Public Instruction as a regional behavior support consultant serving  the public schools in the 12 counties in our region. Her passion and love of working with students brought her back to CCS and to Winecoff Elementary. Creating and maintaining a safe, positive environment where all students can excel academically and behaviorally is her top priority. Mrs. Cook is excited to be a part of the Winecoff School Family and is looking forward to getting to know each and every one of the special members that make this school great place to be!

Ms. Stephanie Thomas
Assistant Principal of Operations

Ms. Thomas is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina.  She is a graduate of NC A&T State University, as well as Gardner Webb University.  She served as a Math teacher for 12 years, a facilitator, and an administrator with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. She has a love for children and enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.  She is excited about the opportunity to work with elementary students and the incredible staff at Winecoff.

Ms. Michelle Kline
Assistant Principal of Instruction

Ms. Kline is originally from Akron, Ohio. She moved to the Charlotte area after graduating from Miami University. She began her teaching career at C.C. Griffin Middle School where she taught eighth grade English Language Arts for ten years and then at Harold E. Winkler Middle School for one year. Ms. Kline coached softball and volleyball during her years teaching as well. After teaching for eleven years, Ms. Kline participated in the North Carolina Principal Fellows Program. During those two years, she attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she received a Master of School Administration. She completed her principal internship at Harrisburg Elementary School. Ms. Kline is passionate about supporting students and teachers in learning and growing. When she is not here at school she enjoys watching and playing sports and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to be a part of the Winecoff community!
