The BTS Student Ambassador Competition was open to US citizens enrolled in grades 8 through 12 and included students from schools across the country. Only twenty-five kids were selected from a nationwide search that took into account not only the student’s passion for STEM, but the diversity of their bio, creativity, leadership and communication skills. The process of narrowing down the applicants to the elite members of Group 1 proved to be an extraordinarily difficult task. This group represents a student population more elite than the freshman class at one of the worlds’ most prestigious engineering schools.
