Attendance Guidelines for 2nd Semester
Please use the links below to access information about the revised attendance guidelines for 2nd semester. For Central Cabarrus High School, these guidelines will go into effect on January 19th for the start of the 2nd semester.
The makeup window for End-of-Course (EOC) tests and CTE Post Assessments has been extended through Friday, February 12th.
A student who missed a state-required exam currently has an INCOMPLETE as the exam score. Make-up exams will be administered on Friday, 1/22, Friday, 1/29, and Friday, 2/5. If a student does not take the opportunity to complete the missed exam before Friday, February 12th, the exam grade will be changed from an INCOMPLETE to a zero.
***Deadline to submit these forms is Tuesday, January 19th!
As a reminder, EOC's & CTE Post Assessments have to be administered in-person. On test day, please bring your school-issued Chromebook and charger to school. If you do not have a school-issued device, one will be assigned to you at the time of testing. Please plan to arrive at the school at 8am and utilize the front of the school for pick-up and drop-off. Students can take up to 4 hours to complete an End-of-Course test, but generally finish testing within 2 to 3 hours. Students taking a CTE Post Assessment generally finish in approximately 90 minutes. Once a student is finished testing, they will be dismissed.
