I am a native of Cabarrus County and attended Cabarrus County Schools.  I attend elementary, middle and high school in the NW Cabarrus community where I graduated from Northwest Cabarrus High School.  After graduation, I attended Wingate College where I played baseball all 4 years and recieved a BS degree in Parks and Recreation Administration.  I also received my K-12 teaching certificate in Physical Education and Health from Applachian State.

 

My wife and best friend, Lisa, whom I have been married to for 28 years.  We have 2 wonderful sons, Stewart and Brett.  We are a very busy family with a love for the outdoors, and both boys being involved in sports. We stay on the go.

 

I have a true love for physical education and sports in Cabarrus county where I have taught and coached for the past 29 years.
