Hello everyone!
I am so happy to be part of the Irvin community and SO excited to get to know all of you! I am thrilled to be part of this awesome 2nd grade team! This is my second year teaching 2nd grade. I am originally from a town outside of Chicago. Last year I decided to relocate to North Carolina... and I LOVE IT! I graduated from the University of Iowa (GO HAWKEYES!) with my BA in Elementary Education with an emphasis in reading and student relations.
When I am not teaching, I love to be outside and adventuring around new places! One of the best places I have been lucky enough to explore is Croatia!
When I am not outside, I love to read, cook, listen/sing to music and watch movies. A few of my favorite things are:
1. ALL Chicago sports
2. ANYTHING Disney
3. Most importantly... PIZZA! (Chicago style of course).
I cannot wait for this new school year and to meet all of you and I hope you all are just as excited! It’s going to be a great year!
