A Message from Chris Myers, Principal
Welcome back Trojan Nation students and parents! We are so excited to have everyone returning in-person for the 2021-2022 school year.
It goes without saying that students, staff, and families near and far have faced varying degrees of challenges dating back to March 2020. At Northwest Cabarrus High School, we are confident that as we all return for the school year, the multitude of offerings that collectively comprise the tradition of excellence that has existed at NCHS since 1966 will provide our students with the necessary tools to achieve academic excellence and personal growth. Specifically, from our curriculum offerings, advanced courses, athletics, arts, clubs, and organizations, each one of our students will be better prepared for whatever post-graduation plans they aspire to achieve. It goes without saying that the more involved each student is, the more opportunity they have for academic success. Students should utilize their teachers, Student Services, and the administrative team to help guide them through the process if any questions arise.
Moving forward, as everyone becomes once again acclimated to face-to-face learning, it is important that our students have high expectations for themselves, those around them, and that they communicate with their teachers to facilitate the best possible learning environment. Please utilize the NCHS Code-of-Conduct when for policy questions and/or discipline and academic information.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your principal, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any questions and/or concerns as we begin the new year. As always, we appreciate your support, flexibility, and understanding as we continue to strive to provide the best educational opportunities for all our students.Chris MyersPrincipal
