A Message from Chris Myers, Principal
First and foremost, congratulations to our Trojan Senior class who graduated on June 13th. I cannot speak for everyone; however, for me personally and professionally, I cannot say enough what a proud moment it was to see all our seniors, who persevered through so much adversity, smile, walk, strut, and sometimes dance across the stage at the Charlotte Motor Speedway! I have every confidence that the Class of 2021 is on to bigger and better things, and for that, we are all so proud at NCHS!
It goes without saying that the past year has been challenging to all of us: students, staff members, and parents. I believe we all would agree everyone has learned a lot and grown immensely over the course of the 2020-2021 school year. Throughout, there have been many challenges, successes, and learning moments that have made our students more prepared for the future and helped to maximize our potential as educators. To that end, the Northwest Cabarrus High School staff cannot say thank you enough for your flexibility, support, and trust, as everyone has worked to navigate through the pandemic and “come out on the other side.”
My hope is that all of you have a restful summer break, spend time with those close to you, and enjoy the feeling of normalcy that continues to grow within our community and beyond. We cannot wait to see everyone when we return to school in August, and I thank you for the opportunity to serve as your principal at NCHS!Chris MyersPrincipal
