    You may choose from any of the following to do when you have finished an assignment early (assignment must be done to the best of you ability). More options will be added later

    PERFECT OPTIONS

    1- Read an article about an invention/innovation/developing technology and write a paragraph summary on the following information (Extra credit is available):

         What is the technology and what does it do?

         Who was it invented by?

         How does it help society (and maybe how does it not help society)?

         What do you like about the technology?

     

    2- Go to http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/tech or https://www.seeker.com/tech and read about a specific technology to broaden your knowledge. You can also write a paragraph summary on the video on the following information (extra credit is available):

         What is the technology and what does it do?

         Who was it invented by?

         How does it help society (and maybe how does it not help society)?

         What do you like about the technology?

     

    3- Help other students with assignments (ask Mrs. Young) if this is ok as some work should only be done by an individual student)

     

    4- Go to https://www.exploratorium.edu/explore/activities and find an activity that you might find fun and easy to do. You have two options:

         a) Write a proposal to Mr. Young on why we should do the project in class. Include in your written proposal:

              -What the project is

              -What do you need

              -How does it relate to class?

    OR

         b) Do the project at home and bring it into class (with approval from Mrs. Young). Present to project to class and demonstrate it working for Extra Credit

     

    GOOD OPTIONS

    5- Go to https://www.nytimes.com/crosswords and do one of the many challenging puzzles for fun.

     

    6- Read a book of your choosing (can be one of my Technology Books or your personal one)

     

    7- Catch up on other work from other classes.

     

    8- Find an inspirational quote for class and create a 8.5 x 11'' poster with it that will hang in the room.
