Central Cabarrus Chapter of National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) honors the achievements of top CTE students, provides scholarships to encourage the pursuit of higher education, and cultivates excellence in today’s highly competitive, skilled workforce.
NTHS helps students:

Seek post secondary education by awarding over $200,000 in scholarship annually.

CCHS NTHS President & Senior Vice President
Membership Qualifications - (Invitational Yearly each October)
Juniors and Seniors meeting membership preliminary requirements listed below received an email with invitation and online application on 9/14/2020:
- Junior or Senior status
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA unweighted
- Minimum 3.0 CTE GPA unweighted
Additional membership eligibility requirements for candidates include the following:
- Invitee must complete online NTHS application by 9/28/2020 (See your invitation letter in student email account sent from Brian Elliott on 9/14/2020)
- All Applicants must have No Out of School Suspensions during high school career
- All Applicants must have No more than 3 separate InSchoolSuspensionsduringhighschoolcareer
- All Applicants must have completed already or currently enrolled in Fall 2020 one or more of the following CTE Concentrator courses:
- Horticulture II
- Drafting II
- Masonry II
- Interior Design II
- Apparel Design II
- Adobe Digital Design
- Entrepreneurship II
- Business Management II
- Wealth Management II
- Health Science II
- Biomedical Technology I
- Foods II
- Robotics II
- Principles of Engineering
- Engineering Design
- Animal Science II
Active Members receive a membership certificate in a professional presentation folder. In addition, members receive an official NTHS diploma seal, graduation tassel, lapel pin, and window decal to show their affiliation with NTHS. Graduating Seniors who are "active members" will be allowed to purchase a NTHS Honor cord in the spring of their Senior Year.
What is Active Member Status?

Complete 10 hours of documented community service each semester
