I graduated with my bachelor of arts in English from the University of Miami (Go Canes!) and my Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing with a concentration in fiction from Florida Atlantic University. I earned my Graduate Certificate of Teaching English from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. I have taught all levels of English. In addition to teaching, I am also a professional writer.
