M.A., S.S.P.
This is my 10th year working with children and families across a variety of settings, and my 4th as a school psychologist. Before becoming a school psychologist, I worked as a one-on-one in a self-contained classroom for three years. After that I worked at UNC FPG Child Development Institute implementing play-based intervention with toddlers for three years. Some of my professional interests include early intervention, using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches to teach and build upon social-emotional skills, and family education/support groups. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, visiting the mountains, and watching crime documentaries. A fun fact is that my household has 4 cats and 1 dog!
