Thank you to CCEF 2016-2019 Classroom Grant for making this idea come to life for both art teachers and students!
Spring 2017 Visual Art Intermediate students collaborated with Mrs. Lizarzo's 5th grade classes! Her 5th grade classes created monster drawings based off of a wonderful artist. My Art 2 students then brought those monster drawings to life through clay! We surprised the 5th graders with an end of the year gift and left them all speechless. Spring 2018 Visual Arts Beginning Students participated in a wonderful service learning project to help create keepsakes for orphans from Poland. They created realistic value portrait drawings.
Fall 2017 Visual Arts Beginning Students participated in a wonderful service learning project to help create keepsakes for orphans from The Philippines. They created realistic value portrait drawings.
Spring 2017 Visual Arts Intermediate Students participated in a wonderful service learning project to help create keepsakes for orphans from Bolivia. Students researched the country and began to understand their culturen. They were asked to create paintings of the children's portraits.
Spring 2016 Visual Arts Intermediate participated in a wonderful service learning project in creating paintings of children from Peru. Students explored the country and learned about the culture over seas. Check out their beautiful portraits in the first time this opportunity has been offered to our visual art students.

Thank you to CCEF 2017-2018 Classroom Grant for providing our Digital Photography students with a new printer for our class!
Studio Time!
This grant provided Photography students in the 2018-2019 school year with studio equipment to practice portrait lightings and varies techniques in running a portrait studio business. Thank you for providing them with a life changing experience with all of the wonderful backdrops, stands, and lights. This equipment will be used for future photography students!
