Ms. Erin Scannell

I am looking forward to my fourth year at Patriots STEM Elementary School! This year's theme is nature. Our counseling theme is

"Best in Nature and the Best in Us!"

This year, I am following my students up to their new grades. I will be responsible for 3rd, 4th, and 5th gradesBoth School Counselors will continue to teach students about Kelso's Wheel of Choice (problem-solving skills) and Second Step (getting emotions under control) this year.

I am always available to work with students individually. I intend to meet every student this year. I know most will not need help, but I want them to know me and that I am there for them. As we discover the best ways to work remotely, I intend to reach out and connect with all my students.

I am available to assist parents and guardians who have concerns or questions about their students. We are developing support and identifying resources to help families with remote learning.

I know it will be another GREAT year as I have learned so much from my county colleagues, all the PES teachers & staff (including our Super Subs!), PTO Volunteers, parents, and perhaps my greatest teacher, the students!

"You're off to great places. Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so get on your way!"
