• What is a good test score?

    It depends! What are your goals? Testing is just one component of the overall picture that colleges and employers are considering. Visit the specific programs that you are interested and find out their requirements for testing. 

     

    Keep practicing. There are many test preparation websites and courses that you can take to be better prepared for formal assessments.

Pre-ACT

  • Pre-ACT was Tuesday, October 30, 2019

    Where: Math and English Hallways

             Last Names A - M will be on the Math Hallway

             Last Names N - Z will be on the EnglishHallway

    When: At the start of the day through Intervention and 2nd Block.

    What do you need: 

    • Bring number 2 pencils
    • A photo ID

    Who will be taking the exam:

    All 10th Graders are required to take this exam

    What do I do if I am absent:

    The makeup exams must be completed during the Pre-ACT testing window. Specific make-up exam days will be communicated with students and faculty.

    Please plan to be in school during testing days.

  • Pre-ACT Student Profile

    Dear Parent/Guardian:

    The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction will soon be administering the PreACT assessment to all eligible tenth grade students. The PreACT assessment includes a pretest portion that will not be available to students through the state test administration. Parents and students can, however, voluntarily access and complete the information that is included in this pretest portion and create an ACT profile at the following website:
