Some awesome GLOBAL TED Talk Videos:
     - Globalizing the local, localizing the global by Sheikha Al Mayassa - a patron of artists, storytellers, and filmmaker in Qater, talks about how art and culture create a country's identity and allow every country to share its unique identity with the wider world.  As she says, "We don't want to be all the same, but we do want to understand each other."
    -  The danger of a single story by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie - a novelist tells the story of how she found her authentic cultural voice and warns that if we hear only a single story about another person or country, we risk a critical misunderstanding.
    - Color blind or color brave? by Mellody Hobson - a finance executive touches the subject of race. She says, it's a "conversational third rail" and "that's exactly why we need to start talking about it." In this engaging, persuasive talk, Hobson makes the case that speaking openly about race - and particularly about diversity in hiring - makes for better businesses and better society.
     - Africa's next boom by Charles Robertson - an economist talks about rising education levels to expand global investments (and not just from China) that will lead him to predict rapid growth for a billion people, sooner than you may think.
    - What does it mean to be a citizen of the world? by Hugh Evans -  started a movement that mobilizes "global citizens," people who self-identify first and foremost not as members of a state, nation, or tribe but as members of the human race. We learn about how this new understanding of our place in the world is galvanizing people to take action in the fights against extreme poverty, climate change, gender inequality and more.
