    Seniors! If you have been accepted to college, or you have completed your FAFSA, let Ms. Glover know! Stop by her office in student services.

    Auditions for acting, singing, and spoken word roles at the 2018 Black History Month Program will be held on Monday, December 11 right after school in Miss RJ’s room (E311). 

    Registration appointments for rising seniors are December 11th-14th. Please be prepared and report to your counselor at your appointed time.

    The driver’s education class will resume tomorrow Tuesday, December 12 at 2:30 in the media center.

    Band Concert December 12th at 6pm in the Northwest Middle School Gym.

    Chorus Concert December 14th at 7pm in the Lecture Hall.

    Students: If you have experience with VEX robotics and would like to be considered for the first Northwest Cabarrus VEX Competition Team, please see Mr. Brown in room 234 after school before December 15th.

    HOSA is hosting a blood drive on Friday, December 15th from 8 am- 1pm. You must be at least 120 pounds and 17 years old to donate or 16 years old with parent consent. Winter sport athletes must receive prior approval from their coaches. Sign ups at all lunches.

    Jostens will be on campus December 19th to deliver class rings.

    You can wear your pajamas to school Wednesday, December 20th if pay $1 in the cafeteria that morning.

    The Winter Semi-Formal will be January 5th in the Aux Gym. Tickets are $10 and will be sold December 1st-20th in the cafeteria! Come in your semi formal best!!!!

    Attention Rising Juniors and Seniors:Summer Ventures is now accepting applications for the Summer 2018. This is a four-week summer experience for academically talented students who aspire for a career in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.  The deadline to apply is January 15, 2018.  See Mrs. Franklin in Student Services if you  have questions. 


    Club News

    The National Art Honor Society will meet on Monday, Wed, and Thursday of this week to work on the luncheon decorations. Meet in media center each day at 2:25.

    Chi Alpha Members: Our annual Holiday Hangout is coming up on Thursday, December 14, from 6-8pm at Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church.  We’ll have food, games and fun – just remember to sign up with Mr. Hong no later than December 7th

    Hey Students!  The Interact Club is collecting socks for our local homeless shelter at the Salvation Army Center of Hope.  Bring your NEW socks to Mrs. Merrell’s room in D123 before December 15th.  Anyone who donates will have their name entered into a drawing for a Chick-Fil-A gift card!

    Last year our seniors earned over $8 million in scholarships! Let’s surpass last year’s senior class with our $8.3 million goal!  Getting closer, but we still have a way to go!  

    We are 31towards our goal! 

    So far the Class of 2018 has earned $2,564,000 in scholarships!
