    Don't forget applications for next year's Sports Medicine program are due to Trainer Z TODAY by 2:15. No late applications will be taken.

    Driver’s Ed registration forms are due TODAY.  The class will begin February 21 after school in the library.

     Leadership applications are due TODAY. No late applications will be accepted!

    An ACT boot camp will be held after school in the media center Feb 20 and 26 from 2:15-3:15. You can come to one or all sessions. See Ms. Glover in Student Services to sign up.

    A representative from UNCC will be on campus Monday, Feb 26th at 7:30am in the cafeteria. If you are interested in attending the info session, see Mrs. Glover in Student Services for a pass to attend.

    Seniors If you have been accepted to college, fill out the acceptance sheet in student services to get your name on the college board in the hallway.

    • R. Flake Shaw *please note there are two opportunities available: one for the community college pathway and one for four-year university pathway.

    Other News:

    • Rowan-Cabarrus Community College offers a variety of scholarships and TWO specific to Northwest Cabarrus High School students.  The RCCC scholarship portal has not yet opened; however students are STRONGLY encouraged to go ahead and explore the website and once available APPLY EARLY! 
    • Remember to turn in your scholarship awards to Mrs. Franklin! You deserve to be recognized for all your hard work and your achievements.  You can send it by email or stop by Student Services with your award letter.

    Last year our seniors earned over $8 million in scholarships! Let’s surpass last year’s senior class with our $8.3 million goal!  Getting closer, but we still have a way to go!  

    We are 54% towards our goal!  So far the Class of 2018 has earned $4,463,350 in scholarships!
