Tutoring
Tutoring Overview
-
Tutoring can be a helpful way to enhance and reinforce instruction, and a student does not have to be struggling to benefit from tutoring. Tutoring can include free and fee-based options. Most teachers at CMHS provide free before and/or after-school tutoring on a regular basis or will schedule one-on-one tutoring upon request. Check with your teacher to find out when he/she has scheduled tutoring.Additionally, Cabarrus County Schools provides a list of tutors who may be hired to provide private tutoring; tutors on this list have had background screening. Finally, there are many web-based tutoring resources that can be utilized. In addition to utilizing the resources linked on the right, be sure to check your teacher's website for links to tutoring resources specific to their content areas.
