• KIDS:PLUS Program Information 
    Who is eligible to attend KIDS:PLUS?
    Children who are enrolled in Cabarrus County Schools and are in Kindergarten-5th Grade are eligible to attend KIDS:PLUS at their elementary school location.  Families with children enrolled in Program Choice options may enroll their child in the KIDS: PLUS program at the Program Choice site or in the KIDS:PLUS Program at the site of their hub stop for transportation. 
    Children will be accepted up to the licensed capacity limit at each site. Once the capacity limit is met, families will be placed on a formal waiting list. KIDS:PLUS is unable to make exceptions with this process.

    What are the hours of operation?

    Before School: 6:00 a.m. until the school day begins (children will receive breakfast).  Please note: Not all locations operate a before school program.   Please contact the Site Director at your location for additional information.
    After School: from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m.  

    Full-Day Care Programs: 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Teacher Workdays and during school breaks [optional for an additional fee; at selected sites].
    What are the staff/child ratios?
    1 staff member per 14 Kindergartners
    1 staff member per 19 1st-5th Graders
