The National Beta Club began as the dream of our founder, Dr. John W. Harris, a professor at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. Since the first Beta Club was formed in Landrum, SC in 1934, The National Beta Club has become the nation's largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. We are committed to recognizing and promoting high academic achievement, rewarding and nurturing worthy character, fostering leadership skills and encouraging service to others.

The National Beta Club has worked with over 6.5 million young people in grades 5-9 (Junior Beta Club) and grades 9-12 (Senior Beta Club). There are now more than 450,000 active members and more than 8,750 clubs nationally and internationally.

  • HELLOOOOOOO ROBINSON.

Your new Beta Club Sponsor for the 2020/2021 School Year is.....

Mr. Joseph Serviss. Mr Serviss is a CTE Teacher and Principal Intern at Robinson and is working with many groups this year. He has graciously accepted the position as Beta Sponsor to ensure Robinson students don't miss out on this opportunity.

    A message from Mr. Serviss:

Before all the questions start rolling in please understand that much of what we can and cannot do is still up in the air due to the ongoing pandemic. If you have questions feel free to e-mail me with the subject line BETA, and I will do my absolute best to answer your questions. All I ask is for patience as some questions will take longer than others to answer. Thank you so much and I look forward to working with you.

One last thing... I would like to thank Mrs. Janssen for her service to the club last year and appreciate her ongoing support during this transition.
