Mrs. Genita Rankin
My name is Mrs. Rankin and I'm excited to be your child's second grade teacher! I am eager to work with you and your child this year. This is going to be year with lots of learning and fun. I look forward to a great year together! I am a graduate of Winston-Salem State University. I have been teaching for over 20 years. I started working at CMES in 2011. I love teaching at Cox Mill Elementary School. Additionally, I am so grateful to be part of this wonderful community. My favorite things to do are reading, watching movies on Netflix and eating at different restaurants.
My husband and I have two sons. Our older son Latrell is a graduate of CPCC and currently a student at UNCC studying business. Our younger son Justin is a ninth grader at Cox Mill High School. As a family we love Friday nights because we try to spend some quality time together. Friday Family Nights can include playing BINGO, corn hole, going to basketball tournaments or watching movies. I look forward to a productive and engaging school year with you and your child.
