2nd Quarter Honor Roll Celebration

  • Congratulations to our 5th grade students that made the 2nd Quarter Honor Roll! We are extremely proud of your academic achievement. The work you do each day builds your future. Keep up the good work dragons! Students were rewarded with an Honor Roll Celebration!


  • Love and Logic Love and Logic Parenting Workshop
    Love and Logic facilitator, Mrs. Dowdell will be holding Parenting the Love and Logic Way: Creating Happy Families and Responsible Kids classes. There are 5 classes offered for parents, guardians, children and youth of all ages being held at Harris Road Middle School. The first class will be held on March 1st.     Battle of the Books Battle of the Books
    Congratulations to our Battle of the Books team who placed third at the county competition out of 18 teams! Battle of the Books is an academic competition which encourages reading and exposes fourth and fifth graders to a variety of literary genres. 

    VEX VEX Robotics Competition
    Our two robotics’ teams competed in their first competition. They put their all into it and did a great job! The Ringmasters team won the Judges Award. Members of The Claw team deserve a shout-out for the patience and kindness they showed toward other teams. We are proud of both teams’ efforts and can't wait to see what they can do in their next competition! Check out pictures above.

     dreambox Student and Parent Access to Dreambox at Home
    Would you like to see how your student is progressing in math? Would you like your child to use Dreambox on an iPad? You can learn how to sign up for a parent account, get feedback on how your child is progressing through his/her math curriculum and how he/she can access Dreambox at home with these Dreambox Directions.

Spotlight on Reading Comprehension

  •  Reading
    Reading comprehension helps children in all school subjects, gives them an advantage in standardized tests and can turn them into lifelong lovers of literature. Parents and kids can do some fun reading comprehension activities at home to help improve their language and reading skills. Check back for more activities.
