Ashanti Durley, a student at Cabarrus Tech Early College High School of Concord, will be a Delegate to the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Lowell, MA on June 23-25, 2019.
The Congress is an honors-only program for high school students who want to become physicians or go into medical research fields. The purpose of this event is to honor, inspire, motivate and direct the top students in the country who aspire to be physicians or medical scientists, to stay true to their dream and, after the event, to provide a path, plan and resources to help them reach their goal.

Cabarrus Tech Receives National Recognition
The American School Counselors Association (ASCA) awarded Cabarrus Tech the designation as a Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) School. The RAMP designation recognizes schools across the nation that are committed to delivering an exemplary comprehensive school counseling program. Currently, Cabarrus Tech is the only school in this region to receive this designation.
Cabarrus Tech was named the Division II WINNER of the Student Hunger Drive.
