Hello,

My name is Mrs. Mullen (Carroll) and am honored to say this is my fifth year teaching here at Cox Mill High School.  I will be teaching Freshmen Health and PE in the fall, and Women's Weight Training and Modern Fitness in the Spring.  I am originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania where I attended Lackawanna College (associates) and recieved my Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education with a minor in Health Education at West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

  • Women's Weight Training

     The purpose of this class is for the students to have a full understanding of the weight room and the importance of safety. They will learn the primary muscles used in any type of exercise (body weight or weighted), how to properly execute the exercise, and be able to create their own workouts once they leave my class. They will learn many different AMRAP's (As Many Rounds As Possible) which will push them to their limits and keep them in solid shape.

     

    I HIGHLY recommend students do NOT take weight training if they are doing ANY type of training OUTSIDE of school.
