Mrs. Catherine Janssen

Although this online learning is going to be a big challenge for us all, I'm excited to get to interact and teach you this year.  For anything needed for this class, you'll use Canvas. Mrs. Janssen has been teaching at Jay M Robinson for the past twelve years and is looking forward to her next year with Honors Biology and AP Biology. She is the Chair of the Science Department and she was also the sponsor for Beta Club for the 2019-2020 school year.  Born and raised in New Orleans, LA, she moved to Charlotte in 2004 to major in Biology and Secondary Education. She has been married for 11 years and has a three year old son.

Course Schedule 2020-2021

  •  

    1st Period: Honors Biology @ 7:30am-8:30am

     

    2nd Period: AP Biology @ 9:10am - 10:10am

     

    3rd Period: Planning Period @ 11:10 am -12:25 pm

     

    4th Period:  Honors Biology @12:50pm - 1:50 pm

     

    After each class, there is a 30 minute independent work and conference time for each period. Students are expected to continue working on that time and contact the teacher through Canvas if they need assistance.
