A Message from Brian Schultz, Acting Superintendent
-
February 24, 2021Greetings!I am honored to serve as Acting Superintendent for Cabarrus County Schools. I started my career in 1996 as a 2nd grade teacher on the second floor of the old Winecoff School building. Since that time, I have served Cabarrus County Schools as an assistant principal, principal, director of elementary education, assistant superintendent and deputy superintendent. My most important roles are husband to a CCS teacher and father to one CCS graduate and one current student.I know firsthand about the amazing work performed by CCS staff that focuses on our students’ academic, social and emotional needs. During my time away from CCS, I also learned what a tremendous reputation the district enjoys across the state. As we enter this period of transition, I plan to continue to build upon the successful leadership Dr. Lowder has provided the district over the last six years.
