Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Ashby

Welcome to Mt. Pleasant High School from Mrs. Ashby.  I came to MPHS in January 2005 after graduating from Elon University with a degree in Math Education and Sports Medicine.  I have taught many different math courses during my time at MPHS and earned my National Board Certification in December 2015.  I look forward to getting to know you this semester!
I will be teaching two classes each semester, instead of 3 like most of my colleagues.  I am on campus from approximately 8:15 am until 12:25 pm each day.  The best way to contact me is through my email address:  I can also be contacted by phone by using the school's main number: 704-436-9321 extension 1458.
