I am excited to continue serving as Boger's AIG teacher for the 2021-2022 school year! I transitioned into the AIG role after teaching 5th grade for 11 years and 3rd grade for one year. This will be my fourth year teaching AIG (16th year overall!), and I am loving every minute of it!
I am originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelors degree in Group Science/Elementary Education and continued my education at UNCC, earning my Masters degree in Reading Education. I received my National Board certification in 2013, and my AIG licensure in 2017.
My husband and I recently welcomed our 2nd baby girl in March. With two babies under 2 years old, my heart and my hands are full! In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, hiking, traveling, playing tennis, and cheering on the Carolina Panthers or Michigan State Spartans.
