Mrs. Knight

   I have been teaching for over ten years.  Before teaching here in North Carolina, I taught several years in Michigan.  I have taught almost all grade levels.  SECOND grade is my favorite! 
    I have one son, Jaret and my husband, Jim.   Jaret is a sophomore in College in Tennessee.  He plays volleyball there. My husband teaches at Harris Road middle. He also is a summer baseball coach and gives baseball lessons.  I also have a sweet rescue Beagle named Hogan who is the SWEETEST dog in the world.
  I really enjoy playing volleyball with my son and every year for the PSRES team, reading and spending time with my family (especially at the beach).  I still have family that live in Michigan.  My husband's family live mostly in NC!
   I became a teacher because I love working with kids and helping them reach their full potential.  Second graders are special because they grow so much during the year.  I come from a whole family of teachers.  Recently, my sister has become a teacher as well.
