My name is Laura Abernethy and I can't wait to see what's to come this year!  This is my second year at Irvin, however it is my 12th year teaching.  I can not wait for this school year to start and to meet my new children! 

In my free time I love to work out, going to the beach, lake, going fishing, camping, and hiking.  I also love to read and spend time with my friends and family.  My husband and I spend a lot of time outside with our sons and all our animals.  We have a dog, two cats, and a mess of chickens.
