    proctor Calling All End of Grade Proctors! 
    We need your help to make the 2017 -2018 End of Grade Tests (EOG) go smoothly. If you are able to help us by volunteering to proctor, please fill out the form below. We would like to thank you in advance for your support and offering your time to serve as a proctor here at Rocky River Elementary School.
    **We will start each morning at 8:00 am with proctor training in the media center. You will be given your assignment at that time.**. Questions? please contact  Principal, Adrian Parry, at 704-795-4505. 

     JDRF Fundraiser at RRES Huge Success: Thank you to our staff, students, and community for helping us support the fight against Juvenile Diabetes. Together, we raised over $1500 for this great cause.

Security Procedures at RRES

  • lobbyguard Safety Procedures for 2017-18:  In an effort to continuously improve student safety, we ask that parents not walk children to class in the mornings.  We appreciate your support with this policy as it will help to protect valuable instructional time and help us to achieve our top priority, which is keeping our students as safe as possible. If you need to deliver something to the classroom or you have a quick message for the teacher, we will be happy to assist you with this in the front office.  If you need to speak directly with the teacher, please call or email to make an appointment.  Thank you for your support with this.

    All visitors who enter the building will need to report to the front office where they will be asked to scan a valid photo ID and check in using our computerized LobbyGuard check-in system.

    Rocky River Has Been Designated a Global School of Service by YSA! Service learning is a teaching and learning strategy that integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience, teach civic responsibility, and strengthen communities. We are proud to have been chosen to be a global school of service.  Our first service this project this year has already kicked off. Our  Day of Remembrance will be held on September 11 and involve an entire day of activities surrounding the support of our troops.   Click to Visit the YSA.org Website.

     The mission of Rocky River Elementary School is to teach students through a rigorous and relevant curriculum while fostering caring, respectful relationships in a safe, healthy environment.

Instructional Supply Fee

  • A School Board approved Instructional Fee of $10.00 is requested of every student in Cabarrus County Schools. These funds are used to supplement school level expenses such as agendas, communication folders, interventionists, copier costs, instructional supplies, etc.  The funds are collected at school and are utilized for those students only. You are encouraged to pay the instructional supply fee at K12paymentcenter.com or send a check with your student. We appreciate your support of our school.
