    Calling ALL Kindergarten Students

    At Patriots STEM Elementary School


    Join us for an underwater adventure at Kamp Kindergarten!

    Who:  Any student registered to attend Kindergarten at Patriots STEM Elementary for the 2017-2018 school year.

    What:  Kamp Kindergarten is a day filled with ocean-themed games, crafts and stories.  Kindergarten teachers will welcome students and engage them in a variety of typical kindergarten activities.  Kamp Kindergarten will ease the anxiety students feel over the transition to kindergarten.

    When:  Thursday, July  27th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

    Where:  Patriots STEM Elementary Kindergarten Classrooms

    Parents will receive a post card in early July informing them of the color group assignment for their student.  On Thursday, July 27th students will be dropped off at Patriots STEM Elementary School between 8:30 and 8:45.  Parents will sign each student in at their color group location.  Students should dress comfortably as we will spend the day actively participating in ocean adventures.  Students will need to bring a bag lunch.  Students should be picked up between 12:45 and 1:00.  Parents will sign them out at the color group location.


    In order to participate in Kamp Kindergarten, please complete the attached registration form.  Registration forms are due by July 3rd.  Forms can be sent to Patriots STEM Elementary School, 1510 Holden Avenue, Concord, NC 28025.  Confirmation post cards will be mailed the week of July 10th.

Summer Reading Program

  • Winners Circle
    Red Hawks read for the Winner’s Circle this summer!  Students who read 20 minutes each day this summer can turn their reading log in for a Smencil and a chance to win a Gold medal.  Reading logs were sent home with students.  Return completed reading logs during Open House for your Smencil and it will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a Gold Medal.

    Do you have old cell phones or iPods laying around the house?  We were fortunate to get a set of Virtual Reality glasses but need devices to use with them! If you have any Android or iOS devices laying around, we would love it if you donated them to our Virtual Reality kit!  Please send any devices in and label them with Mrs. Brafford's name.  
    Android phone requires version 4.1 or higher.
    iOS requires version 8.0 or higher.

Instructional Supply Fee

  • A School Board approved Instructional Fee of $10.00 is requested of every student in Cabarrus County Schools.  These funds are used to supplement school level expenses such as agendas, communication folders, interventionists, copier costs, instructional supplies, etc.  The funds are collected at each school and are utilized for those students only.  You are encouraged to pay the instructional supply fee at K12paymentcenter.com or send a check with your student.  We appreciated your support of our school.
