Congratulations to the A-PAW-LO 11 team (#28124M) and the Techie Tigers team (#28124P) who participated in the NC Western VEX IQ qualifier at JM Robinson High School on Saturday, January 11th. This award qualifies the team to participate for the NC State Championship held in March.
Congratulations to Mrs. Annette Hammill for being selected as Teacher Assistant of the Year at MPES. Mrs. Hammill has been an assistant for 26 years. She has worked primarily in first grade but moved to kindergarten for the beginning of this year because of school needs. She helps in kindergarten math and reading groups and also assists with small reading groups daily in 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. She is a valuable asset at our school. Thanks for all that you do for our students and staff!
