Spring Break is March 30th through April 3rd! The School will be Closed to Students! Mrs. Barbee encourages families to read together over the Break! She says: "Even if you're taking a trip, take some good books with you". We will see you back on Monday, April 6th! Enjoy your time away!
Doing any Spring Cleaning over the Break? We will be participating in the "Give 5...Read 5" Program & would appreciate any new or gently used books appropriate for K - 5 Students. They can be dropped off in the Front Office or in the Media Center after Spring Break. So...if you're cleaning out bookshelves, we'd welcome all the books you can give. They should be clean & gently used!
Join us as we celebrate STEM with the North Carolina Science Festival! On April 23rd at 6:00PM, we will host our Technology and Engineering Extravaganza! Students will show off their favorite technology creations from the year. Families will also work together to create either a car or parachute using our design process. And finally, our 1st Grade Friends will perform their Spring Concert in the Gym at 6:30PM. You won't want to miss this spectacular evening of fun for all!
In order to Volunteer in your Child’s Classroom, you will need a current Volunteer Background Check on file with the County Office. A background check is also required if you would like to go along on a field trip with your Child. It normally takes 7-10 business days to process. Please contact Beth Wilburn (email@example.com) in the Front Office if you have any questions or if you need the necessary paperwork. Click on the link in 'Quick Links'.
